Synthetic Organic Chemists (Research) - Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire

PEAKDALE MOLECULAR LIMITED is a successful and rapidly expanding business. An increase in demand for our services means we have a number of vacancies for temporary synthetic organic chemists to be based at our head quarters in Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire, equidistant between Manchester and Sheffield in the beautiful Peak District.

Our customers expect us to have innovative ideas to find novel compounds, design new drug molecules and develop commercially viable processes. We achieve this through harnessing the expertise of our highly talented and qualified teams of chemists and delivering real customer care.

We are looking to recruit chemists at differing levels to join a team working to complete synthetic projects to tight deadlines. Existing experience in organic synthesis is desirable; however, enthusiasm and willingness to learn are just as important. Contracts will initially be for 6 months with potential to be extended.

Strong communication skills and a hands-on, proactive approach are prerequisites.

You'll be undertaking a variety of demanding projects and delivering these against customer expectations with particular emphasis on delivery on time, purity and volume parameters.
